How to Delete Custom Size Paper in Word

Microsoft Word allows you to print on many different sizes of paper. Word comes with many paper sizes already built in. These include the standard "letter" size, the longer "legal" size and the smaller "index card" size. Word also allows users to input custom paper sizes so they can print items like homemade invitations or oddly-sized documents. If you no longer want to use a custom paper size, you can delete it just as easily as you created it.

Instructions

1

Open Microsoft Word. Select the "Page Layout" tab from the toolbar menu at the top of the window. Choose the "Size" icon from the "Page Setup" section. Select "More Paper Sizes" from the menu that appears.

2

Click the drop-down menu in the "Paper Size" section. The "Custom Size" option will be highlighted. Scroll down to "Custom Size."

3

Scroll up to choose a different paper size. "Letter" is the standard size.

4

Click "OK" to save the paper size setting you selected and delete the custom size.
